Halloween at the Castanyada Party

After a fortnight of a terrible spinal clamping I’m back again. This year we’re including a Halloween game stand at our Castanyada Games Party at school. The Halloween stand is intended to bring easy-for-EFL-beginners physical response games for children among 6 and 11 years old. It is a school tradition that our 6th grade students organize all the events at the Castanyada Games Party as a compliment to their younger schoolmates, whereas we teachers carry out supervision tasks.

Our Halloween stand, Trick or and Treat will be sort of a Hit the Teacher game; of course instead of teachers they’re there will be vocabulary flashcards and players will get a candy in reward!

Another gaming site by Pearson Education – The Moms and Kids Playground

I’ve just bumped into a lovely site for young EFL learners as well as for native little children. The Moms and Kids Playground comes from the FunBrain site -I’ll tell you about this one some other day- and provides a number of challenging games which I’ll try and report to you within the coming days.
