- Breathe slowly and keep the air in your lungs for a few seconds. Then let it go slowly. Be aware of how your thorax and belly pump the air in and out.
- Move very slowly, with only slight movements, each of your fingers, one by one. Don’t go into the next movement until you can tell one finger from another. Feel the finger you’re moving.
- Fix your eyes on one spot in front of you for a few seconds. Become aware of what you’re seeing and try to look farther and beyond.
- Try to hear and identify distant sounds, the cars in the street, some neighbour’s shower, people passing by, birds singing, dogs barking, other teachers’ voices in other classrooms when at school… Skip nearer voices and relax
