Key Competences Test Training 2017-18

Every school year one of the many tasks we are involved in in the classroom is training our 6th grade students to get good results in the Key Competences Test that takes place every first week in May.

What we basically do is solving past years tests, training in creative writing and reading skills as well as in listening comprehension.

This year we’ve just started to work with the KC Tests, so I’m reposting them here now, so that you can prepare them properly:

Happy November!

Epals exchange between 6th Grade and Butternut Elementary

Our 6th graders are keeping a regular email contact with 7th graders from Butternut, Wisconsin, consisting in exchanging cultural and personal information through fortnightly messages. The school is Butternut Elementary and we have contacted through epals.com

Our students are really excited to learn about their new epals and are eager to send and receive news from their American friends.

Another epals exchange will take place later in May-June between our 5th graders and a class in North Dakota that is learning about Spain.

5th Unit 5 Geography assignment

Design and create a poster, leaflet, brochure, flyer… about important Geography facts of a country or a place you like. Stick photos or draw pictures of its mountains, rivers, lakes, beaches and more and write what you can do there under each photo or picture. Bring this to the classroom on May 12th (oral test).
